I wanted the link to version 16.151.8013. I think thats the newest version before it jumps to 17 correct?
that link you posted is for version 16.111.7797 why is that version lower then what I downloaded months ago?
Also after installing version 16.131.7924 the program auto updates to version 17.3.XXXX which I don't like. How do I stop this from happening?

We would like to inform you that AVG has started automatic upgrade of older version AVG programs to 2017 version. So, irrespective of which installation file you use, the setup will download the 2017 version automatically.

How can I block this type of update from happening? What address would I need to block to stop the upgrade to the 2017 version?
Also whats the file name to get version highest 2016 version?
eg;

We are sorry to inform that we do not have an option to stop AVG from upgrading to the 2017 version. Even though you install the latest 16.151.8013, it will get auto updated to the 2017 version and we cannot stop upgrade. The older versions are completely being removed for the better protection and to fix all the minor issues in the older version. This new version of AVG receives the latest updates and this will completely protect your computer.

One thing I did notice is the ability to disable auto updates. With the newer version only way is to select manual then uncheck otherwise when clicking apply it turns back on.
Funny how support would not give me this information. I had to research and install each one to get my anwser. Makes you guys look bad!!!
I will also be trying out Kaspersky Internet Security after this nonsense of auto upgrading software of users pc's. You guys need to smarten up at least give people the option. Look around how many are upset over this forced upgrade and popup ads.
Speaking of popups. Here's how to get rid of that;
Disable the Notification Panel and Advertising Tiles
1. Disable AVG protection:
Right click the AVG icon in the taskbar (near the clock)
2. Navigate to: C:Program Files (x86)AVGAv
3. Delete the following three folders: Awacs, Banners, Tuneup
4. Enable AVG protection:
Right click the AVG icon in the taskbar (near the clock)

It looks like http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Internet_Security_x64_1931.exe is v 16.111 rather than v16.151.
