The game itself is great. The DRM scheme, however, is very problematic to getting the game to even run. It took a few google searches, but I figured out how to get my Amazon provided serial key to work. Here's what you need to do if you keep running into problems activating the game using your code.If you can't get your serial number to be accepted, it's probably a problem with the Tages drivers, which are the drivers used by the DRM Dawn of Discovery uses. Go to the Tages website (search Google for 'Tages Driver')
-Next, click on the 'Drivers' tab at the top of the webpage.
-Download the proper drivers for your windows type (either 32-bit or 64-bit)
-Run the Tages driver installation. If you run the program it will also uninstall the Tages drivers if they are already installed.
-Run the game. It will ask for your serial number. It won't go through, but it will leave a screen with a clickable html file, or the option to save the html file.
-Open the generated html file (it should have the icon of whatever web browser you use) and then click 'Send Request Code'.
-The next page will have a large serial number. Copy the portion in between the start and end notations, and the paste that into the serial key box that will open up when you click on the html file.
-The game should accept the serial key after this and the game is now registered and ready to play.
